As in most modern societies, there is an element of our nations young people, disengaged disconnected and disenfranchised from society. Many struggle to find work and have not been given the tools, knowledge, self-belief or opportunity to find and showcase their skill or talent.
Welcome to Films4Life, a nonprofit organisation created by a dedicated group of individuals and companies. Along with celebrated industry supporters such as Guy Ritchie and Tony Jordan, we are committed to creating a diverse and enthusiastic community of young people in the UK, passionate about the art of filmmaking, offering them the opportunity to change their lives through the medium of film.
From Screen Writing to Set Design; Continuity to Direction we aim to open the ‘closed doors’ notorious in this industry and create exciting opportunities for a talented new generation of young people to learn first hand from industry experts.
We hope to find creatives, visionaries, performers, organisers, technical experts and skilled craftsmen; all motivated and talented young people who can be guided through the stages of development required to achieve a sustainable career in the British film industry.
By instilling a sense of community early in their careers, we hope that the most successful will become the Films4Life supporters and mentors of the future and will themselves offer opportunities to young community members.
